March 10 (Reuters) – Canada and the U.S. have recognised Germany as free from foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and lifted restrictions on imports of meat and dairy products from the country, the German agricultural ministry said on Tuesday.
Both countries had introduced these measures after a FMD outbreak at a farm in Brandenburg in January 2025.
