SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Sullivan County Public Library encourages people to dive deep and discover more about their family history.
The library is participating in Family History Month. On Friday, they gave people access to a variety of presentations and resources on genealogy and family history. That includes tips to start exploring family history, look up genealogy records, how to use AI to find information and more.
“We in the library business are kind of in the business of information and also stories, and the best story to tell is the story of yourself,” said Rachel Winner, Director of the Sullivan County Public Library. “And to know that you have to have a lot of information, which our wonderful ladies and our genealogy department can help you find.”
