JASONVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Many people in Jasonville, Coalmont, and Hymera remain without running water after a fire Sunday night at the Jasonville water plant.
We’ve compiled a list of places where affected residents can get water.
This list is not exhaustive and will be updated as more locations are added.
Water distribution:
- Indiana Department of Homeland Security – until water is restored
- Bottled drinking water can be obtained at the following locations until service is restored:
- 145 South Lawton Street, Jasonville – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- 6440 West Public Road, Coalmont – 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- 406 North Vine Street, Hymera – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Additional water is also being coordinated for delivery to nearby grocery stores.
- Bottled drinking water can be obtained at the following locations until service is restored:
- Jasonville Assembly of God – Tuesday 4:00 p.m.
- Jasonville Assembly of God is partnering with Convoy of Hope to distribute 40,000 gallons of water.
- Drive-thru distribution will take place in the parking lot across from the church
- Jasonville Assembly of God is partnering with Convoy of Hope to distribute 40,000 gallons of water.
- City of Jasonville
- Non-potable water and limited bottled water will be distributed directly behind the Jasonville water office. Enter from 48 to Washington St. and exit onto Cook Street.”
- Behind 204 W. Main St., Jasonville
- For non-potable water, residents are asked to bring their buckets for hauling the water.

- Bottled water donations can be taken to the City of Jasonville distribution location behind the water office at 204 W. Main St.
