TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University is preparing for its annual Homecoming celebration.
Through the week students have been having different events to help them get ready for the big event on Saturday. Wednesday night was the Blue Light Party located on ISU’s campus. There was food, entertainment, activities for students, and a performance from the Spirit Squad and Sycamore Marching Band.
Student Engagement Associate Director Nicole Hageny said this is one of her favorite homecoming events.
“I love just watching the Sycamore all come together and handout and have fun. Homecoming in general like, I love when an institution really takes pride in accepting and celebrating who we are as an institution. And rallying around our team and our students and what it means to be a Sycamore.”
Homecoming celebration will be on Saturday October 26, with festivities beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the Homecoming Parade in downtown Terre Haute.
