CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Clark County were closed for a time as crews worked a crash.
According to Illinois State Police, a two vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle occurred at 10:04 a.m. at milepost 134 of westbound I-70 Tuesday.
Police said preliminary investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle made contact with a “commercial motor vehicle” and then rolled over.
While the injuries on scene were reported to be non-life threatening, a helicopter ambulance was called to the scene.
ISP said the roadway was reopened after the vehicles were relocated off the roadway.
“This crash investigation is in its infancy, and there is no additional information to share at this time,” ISP Public Information Office Trooper Duane Chappell said.
