TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Indiana State University’s Office of Sustainability is set to host its 1st annual Food Forest Fall Festival on October 15th.
The festival will take place at its Food Forest which is located at the intersection of 12th Street and Chestnut Street in Terre Haute.
The event starts at 10 a.m. and will end at 2 p.m.
ISU Senior Kaitlynn Voorhees said that the main goal of the event is to teach the public of sustainable agriculture practices.
“We just want to show the community a different way of gardening and to garden in a more sustainable way,” Voorhees said.
This event will include games, crafts and giveaways. Coffee and food will be catered by Federal Coffee. You can even get a pumpkin just in time for Halloween.
