INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard will now be updated on a weekly basis rather than daily.
IDOH announced the change on Thursday, saying in a release that the weekly updates reflect a national shift from daily case counts to weekly metrics.
The COVID-19 dashboard updates will also continue to ensure that COVID-19 trends are actively available to the public and for healthcare providers making informed decisions on care and policies.
The dashboards will update each Wednesday by 5 p.m.
IDOH also has added a new wastewater surveillance dashboard that shows the results of SARS-CoV-2 tests conducted on untreated wastewater.
In addition to the changes to the COVID-19 dashboards, IDOH has shifted to weekly updates of its monkeypox dashboard to reflect declining case counts.
