SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A man was airlifted to Indianapolis, after a motorcycle vs deer accident in Sullivan.
It happened on Saturday, just after 3 p.m.
According to Sheriff Cottom, the wreck happened in the area of County Road 350 South, just west of State Road 154.
An investigation indicates that a male, identified as 57-year-old Kip Sheffler, was riding west on 350 South when a deer ran out in front of him.
The impact caused Sheffler to lose control of the motorcycle, and the bike slid around 110 yards before coming to a rest in a ditch.
