PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Does your job include possibly interacting with someone in a medical emergency?
Horizon Health will offer a Basic Life Support course in Paris, Illinois this month. The class will take place Tuesday, April 19 running from noon to 4 p.m. at the Jasper Street Annex.
The course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an automated external defibrillator or AED.
The course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic life support skills.
It costs $25 to participate, those wishing to enroll can register online at MyHorizonHealth.org/classes.
