TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Babo’s Café has opened it’s doors in Terre Haute.
The store held a soft opening last week to allows staff to get acclimated to the working environment. The store takes the place of the old Fifi’s Lunch Box restaurant.
Front Manager Sanela Ikanovic said that she and her family are ready to build a connection with the Terre Haute community.
“Word of mouth started to catch on and we kept seeing more and more people gradually as the days go by,” Ikanovic said. “The support from the community has been amazing.”
Babo’s offers a wide variety of items on the menu and Ikanovic said they’re looking to add more vegetarian and vegan items to the menu in the future.
