OAKTOWN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A boil water advisory has been placed on the town of Oaktown, Ind. over the weekend and is expected to continue at least 24 hours as of Monday morning, according to town representative Quentin Moseman.
According to Moseman, the advisory applies to the entire town, and was enacted due to a line leak.
Residents of the town should bring water to a boil and allow to boil for 3 minutes before using, or use bottled water when drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation
until the advisory has been lifted.
