TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A circus is making its way to the fairgrounds in Vigo County this week.
The Zorah Shrine Circus has its tent up and is ready for guests. Shows start Thursday and run through Sunday, featuring everything from elephants to acrobats to clowns.
Activities before the show include face painting and carnival food.
With more than 30 years of circus experience, the show’s ringmaster says the performers are happy to get back out there after a long break due to the pandemic.
“This is an all new show and actually this is our first city away from home after an over 14 month hiatus,” says Joseph Bauer. “We have an exciting cast, big show with acts that were seen in Las Vegas.”
You can get tickets at Zorah’s on-site box office or on their website.
