TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Williams Brothers Healthcare celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday morning.
Chuck Williams, executive vice president of medical equipment at William Brothers Pharmacy, said, “We’ve looked at Terre Haute for many years. Terre Haute has always been a market that Williams Brothers has been interested in from a pharmacy standpoint.”
Williams Brothers is a healthcare pharmacy that has opened a respiratory care clinic in Terre Haute. Outside the city, it has provided respiratory care since 1988 and offered comprehensive sleep programs from 3-D mask fitting to free home delivery on Positive Airway Pressure supplies. It offers non-invasive ventilator services as a well as a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease program which has shown to reduce hospital readmissions by over 20%.
“We have many sleep doctors in this community, a couple of sleep labs in this community and that makes it ideal for us to come in with our therapists and our staff, help people get the equipment that they need, the masks and the supplies that they need for sleep apnea,” Williams said, adding, “We’re really excited to be here in Terre Haute and we’re looking forward to serving this community in the way we serve all our other communities. Our philosophy is that we get involved with our communities and become part of it.”
