VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Three new and popular businesses are soon to open in Vincennes.
In 2020, a Hobby Lobby store opened in Kimmell Pointe. Now, there will be a Marshall’s store next door to it.
In the same area, a Texas Roadhouse is being built. It was first proposed back in 2019.
Culver’s will also be coming to Vincennes. It will located on 6th Street. The Vincennes Culver’s location will be under the same ownership as the restaurant located on Terre Haute’s east side.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum said bringing in the new businesses will be a major boost for the local economy.
“They’re going to attract people from outside Vincennes. Bring more people in to Vincennes to hopefully shop and spend their money,” he said.
For Knox County residents, some are glad they will have more options for shopping and dining.
The grand opening for Marshall’s is set for March 25.
Opening dates for Texas Roadhouse and Culver’s have not been announced.
