VIGO Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)—Indiana State Police Trooper, Brad Fyfe, stopped Chad H. Bowman, 44, of Amargosa Valley, NV, just after 8 p.m. on I-70 near mile marker 9 for unsafe lane movement.
During the traffic stop, the ISP trooper detected suspicious activity and conducted a search of the semi-tractor trailer.
Officials found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the trailer. After further investigation, Fyfe discovered that Bowman had been driving while impaired.
Bowman was taken to the Vigo County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond and facing the following charges:
- Possession of methamphetamine, Felony 6
- Possession of paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, Class A Misdemeanor
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, Class C misdemeanor
