TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A woman is facing an arson charge, accused of trying to set an old church in Terre Haute on fire.
Terre Haute Police Officers were dispatched to a former church located at 625 Florida Avenue on Monday.
According to court documents, witnesses told officers that Bonnie Buntain attempted to set the building on fire and that she said she was performing a sacrifice.
The door to the building sustained fire damage.
Buntain was taken into custody on a charge of arson.
