VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– The Indiana Military Museum honored Vietnam War veterans Saturday during their Veteran’s Appreciation Day.
The museum set up displays of items used during the Vietnam War.
Guests toured the museum, listened to guest speakers and watched live battle reenactments.
Bryan Andrews, a museum volunteer, said these events help keep history alive.
“We’re just out here to recreate some of the camp displays to give spectators and idea of what it would have been like. We also want to honor the veterans,” he said.
The museum will honor World War II veterans on September 5 and 6.
