WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A house in West Terre Haute caught fire shortly after 5 a.m. Monday in the Whitcomb Heights subdivision.
Reports from the scene indicate that everyone made it out of the home. There were no reports of injuries.
A couple was sleeping when the smoke detector woke them up. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but it started in a bedroom. The fire was contained to the one home, which was heavily damaged, on Edgewood Avenue.
