TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local business says they’re still here to serve the community even after a car accident caused damage to their building recently.
Kristina Harder, Manager of Little Bear Coffee Co., says a driver accidentally drove their vehicle into the building.
While the incident caused some damage, she says they’re just thankful no one was hurt.
“It took a second to register what happened and once we realized what happened, we were just glad nobody was injured. We had a couple of customers sitting on that bar table maybe an hour prior so I’m very thankful that they had since left, and there was no one sitting in the area,” says Harder.
She says a crew helped them board the damage up quickly and a building inspector approved their shop to reopen the next morning.
