TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute woman is charged after crashing into a gas line Sunday morning.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, a car crashed into an above ground Vectren gas line at around 10:30 a.m.. The crash caused a gas leak in the area of 16th Street and Liberty Avenue.
They said the car also hit a Duke Energy pole.
According to police, some residents may have been without gas while repairs were being made.
Kayla Wilson of Terre Haute is charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
No one was injured in the crash and the gas line has been repaired.
