SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Sullivan authorities were dispatched to a residence on N. State Street on reports of an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, the guest, identified as 24-year-old Logan Berg of Sullivan, had left. The home-owner informed the officers that Berg was not to return.
The officers served Berg a no-trespass order at his residence on N. Main Street. While doing so they report smelling marijuana. Berg alerted the three officers on-hand that 24-year-old Deana Goble was inside of the home. The officers received consent from Berg and Goble to search the premises.
Shortly after entering the house Berg ran out of the backdoor. Officers pursued on foot, before finding Berg in a Shed a few blocks away from the home.
After completing the search of the residence, police found 315 grams of methamphetamine, 56 grams of marijuana, 58 grams of synthetic cannabis, and numerous prescription pills.
$19,650 in US currency and four handguns were also found inside the home.
Berg is facing several charges including: dealing and possession of methamphetamine, synthetic cannabis, and controlled substances. He faces further charges of dealing marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and resisting arrest. His bail is set at $190,000 with 10% allowed.
Goble is facing charges of dealing and possession of methamphetamine and controlled substances. She faced further charges of dealing marijuana, possessing synthetic cannabis, and possession of paraphernalia . Her bail is set at $90,000 cash only.
