CLARK COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says authorities are on the scene of a fatal accident.

Friday that the fatal wreck happened on Clarksville Road between Cleone Road and Bluegrass Road. That’s east of Westfield.
The road will remain closed for most of the afternoon and possibly into early evening, according to the sheriff’s office. Anyone traveling in that area will be redirected.
Illinois State Police are handling the investigation.
