GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Marshall, Indiana man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Greene County.
It happened Monday at 2:30 p.m. It happened on SR 48 and CR 1000 West.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation shows that 71-year-old David Combs of Marshall was southbound on 1000 West and failed to stop at a stop sign.
Forty-three-year-old Gina Scott of Sullivan was west bound on SR 48 and unable to stop, causing a collision.
Both vehicles overturned in a field, Combs was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on scene.
Scott was transported by air to Ezkanazi hospital in Indianapolis with a back and leg injury.
Combs’ passenger was taken to regional hospital with a minor injury.
The crash is under investigation.
