TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local law firm is furnishing free cab rides home to prevent impaired driving this holiday season.
Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos and Newlin started offering the cab rides 11 years ago. They typically offer it on major drinking holidays, around five to seven times a year. This year, they are expanding the service.
From Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Jan. 2, the Safe and Sober cab rides will be available from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Call (812) 251-TAXI and let them know to put it on the law firm’s tab.
The ride is only free for those going home. Rides to other bars will not be paid for.
