WEST TERRE HAUTE (WTWO/WAWV) – West Terre Haute Water Works announced Monday that some town water lines will be moved from the old main to the new main starting Tuesday, Dec. 3, prompting a system-wide boil order.
The affected lines are on South 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th streets. Work will be going on from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Dec. 3.
“There will be a possibility of brown water throughout the system,” the announcement read. “Starting Tuesday, December 3rd, the entire system will be on a boil order until further notice.”
