According to Indiana State Police, Michael D. Holliday, 61, of Jacksonville, Fla, was traveling westbound near the 35 mile marker when a mechanical issue caused him to lose control of his semi.
The vehicle went into a grassy median and continued down a steep embankment, coming to an abrupt stop in a creek.
Holliday was transported to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for complaint of pain throughout his entire body.
