TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Facebook post on Friday from the Sycamore Winery, located at 1320 Durkees Ferry Road in West Terre Haute, announced the business will be taking over the Ohio Building in downtown Terre Haute.
The Facebook post read that the Sycamore Winery is excited to open a second tasting room in downtown. It will happened at the beginning of 2020 and is expected to offer later hours than the West Terre Haute location.
The post reads that reservations will not be taken at the new location until after December 1.
The word on the street is, we are taking over The Ohio Building in downtown Terre Haute. The rumors are true and we could not be more excited to open a second tasting room downtown. We will be taking over management of this beautiful restored historic building at the first of the year and with it will be event space, a second floor tasting room with a rooftop terrace, and overnight accommodations in the second floor guest suites. Expect later hours for this second tasting room, along with private rooms that can be reserved for small events during tasting room hours, such as bridal showers, baby showers and class reunions.
For weddings, you can expect the same level of detail, decorating and coordinating at this new venue with all-inclusive package options.
While we are busy working on making this space perfect, we will not be taking any new 2020 reservations until after December 1. Tours can be scheduled with us after this point and pricing information will be available to share then. We cannot wait to share all the details with you soon.
Thank you – The Sycamore Winery Family
