VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Tuesday morning Vigo County Commissioners announced a bid for the Old International Paper property.
Last fall, the IP property was an option for the Vigo County Jail, but has since been left untouched.
Commissioners decided a few weeks ago to open the property up to investors.
One bidder has since come forward and has plans to build a concert venue.
As of right now, commissioners have tabled the bid to further discuss the option with the county’s attorney.
