GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – An investigation into a case of Hepatitis A at the Linton restaurant has been confirmed.
Papa John’s issued a statement saying the franchise is working closely with the Greene County Health Department “regarding a low risk exposure that only applies to customers who ordered from the establishment after 3 p.m. on Sept. 30.”
According to the statement, there have been no confirmed cases of hepatitis A being transferred from a food service worker to a restaurant customer in the Indiana outbreak.
“Our franchisee’s employee did not contract the illness from the restaurant and did not violate any Food Code or hygiene regulations,” Papa John’s said.
All employees at the restaurant are being vaccinated.
