TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Preparations are underway at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds for the 23rd annual Scheid Diesel Extravaganza.
It takes place Friday and Saturday.
The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will be there with over 150 pullers competing.
There will also be drag races, kiddie pulls, vendors, food and more.
“This is a competition motor sports event. We’re not just a huge party. These guys are racing for points so at the end of the year, they will be crowned a champion at the end,” says Melissa Kellett, Director of Marketing. “Also, we are going to be having an after party this year with Show-Me’s for the second time and that starts at 9 P.M. Friday and Saturday.”
Kellett says planning for the event got started back in January.
