WORTHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A community member of Worthington, Indiana took to social media to ask her community to come together to clean up their town.
On Tuesday the town of Worthington saw volunteers come from all over to help clean up their community because of one resident who was ready to see a change.
Sherry Vaneventer posted about how her community needed some well deserved T.L.C. and the community agreed.
One volunteer brought in a dump truck and a front loader to help their cleanup efforts.
Vandeventer said, “We all deserve a nice place to come home to every evening. Its just nice to come home to something that looks nice.”
And with their famous Labor Day yard sales approaching, they will have a clean community to show off.
