BELLE UNION, Ind. (WISH) – A fatal crash has closed a lane of Interstate 70 westbound southwest of Indianapolis in Putnam County.
Indiana Department of Transportation reported the fatal crash about 5:20 p.m. and that a lane of I-70 westbound was closed between the Cloverdale and Little Flower exits. The crash is about 6 miles east of the Cloverdale exit for U.S. 231.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames of the Putnamville post said westbound traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Exit 51 for Little Point Road.
