A new scam is starting to circulate throughout Valley and officials want to warn you about it.
A few people have noticed they are getting emails from government related officials with a link that opens a document.
Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse wants people to know that they should not to open the link. If you open the link a virus is attached to the email and it will be released into your device.
The sheriffs’ I.T. Department is working to combat these emails.
Do not open the link if you believe you have received one of these emails.
