Rodney Sneath, 64, of Terre Haute was booked into the same jail where sheriff’s investigators said he made unlawful propositions to female inmates.
According to investigators, Sneath had video visits and phone conversations with a female inmate at the Sullivan County Jail. During those times, Sneath allegedly offered to put money on the inmates’s accounts in exchange for sexual contact after the inmate was released from jail.
Jail records indicated Sneath deposited money on a female inmate’s books shortly after the conversations.
The female inmate was still incarcerated at the time of Sneath’s arrest.
Sneath posted $4,000 bond and was released with a court date set for July 11.
