Indiana State Police have confirmed two people are dead following a vehicle crash in Knox County.
The crash occurred on State Road 159 near Brocksmith Road, north of Bicknell involving a pickup truck and
a
SUV.
The driver and passenger of one vehicle were both killed. The driver of a second vehicle was flown by medical helicopter to an area hospital for treatment. Names of the victims are not being released at this time pending notification of family members.
As of 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, SR 159 at mile marker 1.4 remained closed.
Knox County Sheriff’s Office and Bicknell police assisted at the scene.
